Chris was born in Montreal to a French father and Italian mother so wine was always in his home growing up and it was a family affair to help his Nonno make his home made wine! Beginning in Hospitality at Ryerson University he has worked both FOH & BOH at Morton's Steakhouse, Sassafraz eventually opening and running the beverage program for restaurants such as Trinity Taverna and STK Toronto. CAPS certified from George Brown, Chris tips his hat to his mentors Dan Volway, Claudius Fehr, Jennifer Huether and John Szabo. Chris has completed his Introduction & Certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers and fulfilled his stage at Maple leaf Sports and Entertainment with Jennifer Huether and Naomie Laurie. NS is lucky to have Chris after he moved here 5 years ago - you can find him and his stellar recommendations at the Port where he's been a Product Specialist for 3 years.
