The Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers Atlantic Chapter is pleased to welcome sommelier Will Predhomme to Halifax. Will was awarded Best Sommelier in Ontario in 2010, & represented Canada at the Meilleur Sommelier du Monde in Tokyo Japan in 2013 where he finished 6th, following a strong second place finish at the Best of Canada competition held in Halifax, where he narrowly lost to eventual world silver medalist, Veronique Rivest. In the same year he won the Wines of South Africa Sommelier Cup competing against an international field of sommeliers. Will is unquestionably one of Canada's most charming and distinguished wine professionals. This dinner featuring exclusive and super premium South African wine will be held at Primal Restaurant located on Brenton Street in Halifax. The restaurant is co-owned by Chef Morne Van Antwerp who was raised in South African wine country. Congratulate our recent sommelier graduates while you dine on superlative South African inspired cuisine and wines presented by one of Canada's most acclaimed sommeliers. Wines, amongst others, include the stunning whites of Cederberg and the much acclaimed Beyerskloof Diesel Pinotage.
